HMS Queen Elizabeth Chinook launch

I created this defence visualisation for Space / Thales, showing HMS Queen Elizabeth at sea during a Chinook launch sequence, with jets flying by overhead and smoke in the background suggesting a distant battle. The image was designed with a cinematic, low-light atmosphere, combining the scale of the aircraft carrier with dramatic ocean conditions, deck lighting, airborne activity, distant smoke, and a moody horizon.

The work involved detailed naval visualisation, aircraft staging, ocean creation, atmospheric lighting, rendering, and post-production. I focused on creating a realistic sense of scale, tension, and military operation, with the carrier emerging through the mist, the Chinook launch adding foreground activity, and the distant battle elements helping to give the scene a wider operational context.
